Today is my last visit to the office. My Japanese boss was there to greet and chat with us. Some colleagues were already there and others started to arrive. It was great to catch up with each other, even if it was only for a short while.
I work in this company for almost 9yrs. Gosh how time flies! It is my 2nd job since graduating from university and didn't imagine that I would have stayed on for so long! Thank you to my bosses and colleagues for guiding and cooperating with me through these years.
I have a lot of memories of this company. I will miss the people I worked with, my overseas colleagues, the travelling days, my products, the limited choice of canteen food, and even my broken chair!
It's a pity that I did not manage to learn proper Japanese while working here. Partly because all my Japanese bosses speak good English and we have division secretary who does the Japanese translation for us so I was too lazy to study Japanese. Luckily I learnt a bit of Japanese from my 1st boss. I love Japanese food, know the name of the Japan emperor and is more familiar with Tokyo than some of the Japanese colleagues! Hehe!
Goodbye SEP! I will not forget the relationship I had with you. I have gained a lot of experience from working here and hope that they will come in useful in my next job!
Now.... should I get a scanner? No more free use of scanners!!!
