As the sun was still high up in the sky, we took some macro shots first.

There was some wind so it was quite tough to shoot the swaying plants. So I took some still objects instead.

At about 5+, the sun came lower down so it's about time! It was not easy and took us quite awhile to achieve the effect. We had to see where the light bounced off from the lens and create halo effects. To read more about lens flare, go to this site.

It works better on lousy lens as the structure of the lens will throw back the light and create this effect. Had fun trying these but the sun was very hot and glaring!
