Dorothy said this is a porcupine but I said it is a hedgehog. She said they are the same but I insisted they are different. So we google and I was right!
Hedgehogs are insectivores, porcupines are rodents. Hedgehogs eat worms and insects on the ground while porcupines (in North America) eat tree bark and buds in the high branches and chew and destroy things. They are pests.
The British government used to use hedgehogs to teach road safety (they recently hibernate their hedgehogs).
Talking about UK, I received an email from my London colleague today, asking me how I am and telling me how cold the weather is in London now. Coincidentally, my best friend's wife messaged me just now and said their family has moved back to Singapore permanently!
I am happy! Can't wait to see their darling children again!
