Breadmaking experience

I came across this ad on breadmaking by Joys@Uptown Sweets on Facebook one day. I signed up on their mailing list and referred 10 friends. So surprised when my friend emailed back to me and said she's interested to go for the breadmaking workshop. So we waited for the schedule to be out, confirmed with each other on our availability and we signed up!

The last time both of us were in the kitchen together was in Sec 2!

It was a fun and informative workshop, with both demo by Joys, and hands-on for us to try. Here's my classmates and our bread! It's a combined effort by all of us to make these!

Today I tried to make bread in my own kitchen. Gosh it was hard work kneading the dough myself! The dough turned out to be rather wet and I thought I might fail. But I got very excited when I see the color of the bread turning while in the oven and the wonderful smell of bread filled the kitchen!

This is a hotdog bun with cheese. It is not perfect, there are 'cellulites' on it. But I am happy with the result!
