My iMac aka Ms Macy is down for several days, which explains my absence here. After several calls to Apple hotline and hours of troubleshooting via the phone, it is diagnosed with OS problems. I was quite pissed because apparently the 1st technical support person gave me the wrong information and wasted my time!!!
Anyway, I have to backup my data and this is where the money will go to. Applecare does not cover software problems so I cannot get free onsite support and have to resolve the software issue myself. As I need to retrieve and backup my data, I have to pay Apple to do it.
Looks like I have to go without Ms Macy for another few days! Arghh!
