Off to a makan trip

In Jan, I was looking at places to go and saw Jetstar ad. The prices shown on those ads are often promotional rates with either WAY advanced booked, selected departure dates only or limited seats. The date we plan to go falls on a holiday so it was not on promotion. But still I was keen to go somewhere near and cheap so I checked with my photo gang if anyone is keen to go Penang.

I did not expect the response to be so good! 16 adults and 1 baby will be flying together to Penang! We will be joined by a family of 4 and my friend's brother and his girlfriend in Penang. What a big group!

This will be a makan trip and I have done lots of research! I hope the food is as good as they look on the websites I found!

I want to go Ipoh too but last minute there are some problems with our rental car booking so hubby and I are still checking with other car rental companies. Many of the cars are already booked due to the holiday season but one of them will give us a call tomorrow to confirm if the cars are available. Keeping our fingers crossed!
