It was a last minute decision, just when I was getting quite fed up of staying at home! I want to go somewhere cool, relaxing, not too expensive, where I can take photos.
So after seeing the SQ promotion and the photos taken by my friends, I decided to go Perth. Asked hubby to take leave and we booked the tickets on Mon. In between preparing the presentation (for one of my interviews), I researched on Western Australia and booked the accommodation. A big thanks to my friends who provided many valuable information!
Though I studied in Australia in my uni days, I have never been to Western Australia. It will be hubby's 1st trip to Australia so I decided to go to a city where both of us have not been before. He is very excited! He wants to see the animals so I plan a trip to one of the wildlife farm.
Unfortunately, Perth does not fit into the "not too expensive" category! Australia dollar has gone up and next week is the start of the 2 weeks school holidays, which means hotels are more expensive and everywhere is crowded. We are doing a self-drive so pray that we are safe on the roads!
